Dancing for Nicholas!
We are participating in 2019 RUDM to dance for Nick! Nick is an 11 year old boy who battles Cystic Fibrosis & faces extraordinary home challenges. His grandparents take care of him and his four siblings and provide for them as best they can. Through Embrace Kids Foundation and Rutgers Dance Marathon, our fraternity has adopted Nick into our brotherhood to provide some social relief through his treatment. We take him on fun outings, join him at social events thrown by Embrace Kids Foundation, & most importantly, visit him when he is at the hospital to cheer him up. We get to see the impact Embrace Kids & funds raised through Dance marathon have on him and his family. Embrace Kids supports his grandparents financially, provides them with grocery and gas cards, & go above and beyond to make sure this family does not slip through the cracks.
We have known Nick for 4 years and he has had a tremendous impact on our brotherhood. His resilience and strength motivates our brothers to Dance in RUDM. Join us to support him and his family as we stand on our feet for 12 hours in honor of Nick. You can support us by donating to our team page. Any donation, online, check, or cash will help Embrace Kids Foundation support kids going through serious health challenges, like our buddy Nick.
