Going Out with a Bang: Matt's Dance Marathon Fundraiser
Dear Family and Friends,
This is my third year participating in the Rutgers University Dance Marathon; I began as a dancer, fulfilled the role of captain last year, and have graduated to an assistant director for the 2020-21 school year. This organization plans the largest student-run philanthropic event in the state of New Jersey each year and it is near and dear to my heart. The money raised by the members of Dance Marathon supports Embrace Kids Foundation, a charitable organization run out of New Brunswick that assists children with cancer, blood disorders, and other health challenges, as well as their families. Embrace provides non-medical needs for these families, such as transportation to and from hospitals, assistance with paying rent, and providing groceries.
As this is my last year as a Rutgers Scarlet Knight, and with the challenges faced as a result of COVID-19 impacting my senior year, this year's Dance Marathon is especially significant to me. This cause has changed my life for the better and I would appreciate any and all contributions to support me in my fundraising efforts :) thank you for taking the time to read this message, and I hope we can make a difference together.
