Marina's Personal Fundraising Page!
I am excited to announce that I will be dancing at the 2019 Rutgers University Dance Marathon - New Jersey's largest student-run philanthropic event - with my sorority Gamma Phi Beta for the third year in a row! I will be doing this to raise funds and awareness for the Embrace Kids Foundation, which supports children with cancer, blood disorders, and other serious health challenges.
This year, I will be participating as a captain for the second year. This means I will get to help with the planning of the marathon throughout the entirety of the school year, along with raising awareness for Dance Marathon and the Embrace Kids Foundation! I also get to stay up for 24+ hours during the actual marathon to help with set up, running it smoothly, and clean up all #FTK!
Founded in 1991, Embrace Kids provides over $1.6 million in programs and services to children and families throughout the greater New Jersey area, at absolutely no cost to the family. These support services address the families’ needs as a whole including social services, counseling, financial assistance, health education, inspirational events and more. Last Rutgers University Dance Marathon, our school came together to raise over $1 million for the Embrace Kids Foundation, and with your help we can raise even more this year!
My goal is to raise $1,000 and it would be greatly appreciated if you could help me to make a difference by donating through this page, even if it is only a small amount.
Whatever you can give will help, as it all adds up! Thank you so much for supporting me and helping me participate in one of my favorite things at Rutgers!!
