Why am I For The Kids (FTK)?
Dear Family and Friends,
I am excited to announce that I am dancing at the 2019 Rutgers University Dance Marathon (RUDM) to raise funds and awareness for Embrace Kids Foundation which supports children with cancer, blood disorders and other serious health challenges! This marks my fourth year participating in RUDM and I am proud to be participating as an Assistant Director of Finance.
Founded in 1991, Embrace Kids provides over $1.6 million in programs and services to children and families throughout the greater New Jersey area, at absolutely no cost to the family. These support services address the families’ needs as a whole including social services, counseling, financial assistance, health education, inspirational events and more. The Embrace Kids Foundation helps adds some normalcy to the lives of families who are struggling through a traumatic time. Families should not have to choose between being with their child undergoing treatment in the hospital or going to work to get their next paycheck. Embrace Kids helps lighten the burden that these families face by providing assistance for their non-medical needs.
You can help make a difference by making a tax-deductible donation on my fundraising page. No gift is too small and every donation can make a difference.
It is faster and easier than ever to support this great cause by making your donation online using the link on this page.
I am FTK because these children and their families are always in a constant marathon as they fight their diseases and hold onto hope. The Embrace Kids Foundation provides these families with services expanding beyond monetary value. Whatever you can give will help - it all adds up! Thank you so much for your support!
