Hey You Made It To Andrew's Page (You Go!)
Yes, every person reading this page is part of the "fam-jam!" Together, we are raising money for the Embrace Kids Foundation which provides more than ONE MILLION DOLLARS for programs and services to children with cancer and other rare blood disorders and their families throughout the greater New Jersey area, at absolutely no cost to the family! These support services address the families’ needs as a whole including social services, counseling, financial assistance, health education, inspirational events and more.
The Embrace Kids Foundation is partnered with Rutgers University Dance Marathon which is the largest, student-run, philanthropic event in the state of New Jersey! The Dance Marathon Family visits patients to give them a little bit more "happy" in their days at the hospital. We also hold a
24 HOUR MARATHON OF DANCING!!!
(did you see what I did there?) at the end of March to show our commitment to the kids by showing that if they can do it, we can too! Seriously, this is the littest and most hype party of the year!
I am thrilled to tell you that I am the Director of Dancer Relations for Rutgers Dance Marathon 2018!!! What does this mean you ask? As one of 6 directors, I work year-round in the recruiting effort to attract new dancers and volunteers to attend the marathon weekend. This includes giving presentations to organizations, working with individual teams, and procrastinating my school work with Dance Marathon work! At the marathon itself, I help motivate others to continuously stay on their feet, coordinate all color war activities, and enourage people to dance it out some more! Picture a bar-mitzvah dancer, but for like 24 straight hours (It's so me let's be honest)!!!
I strongly urge you to help us in our eforts to raise as much money as possible because every dollar goes to making a child's life all-that more enjoyable. Seriously, every dollar counts. Please consider making a donation to my page; whatever you can give will help so much because it all adds up.
THANKS SO MUCH,
Your main man Andrew
