Welcome to My Personal Page
From the beginning of my journey with Embrace Kids Foundation, I have felt an indescribable sense of pride. When I started college, I went looking for Rutgers University Dance Marathon (RUDM). I have always had a passion to help people and I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of. What I did not realize is how much more I would find in the organization that RUDM supports. At my first Dance Marathon, I participated as a dancer and was immediately in awe of the organization. The following year my relationship with the Foundation grew exponentially when I became a Family Relations captain. My connection with Embrace Kids Foundation blossomed as I continued to get more involved with Dance Marathon as an Assistant Director and eventually Director. I am still finding ways to maintain my relationship with Embrace Kids even though I graduated in 2020. I now serve on the Embrace Kids Future Leaders Council which exists to develop the next generation of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and assist the Board in fulfilling the Foundation’s mission to support families whose children have cancer and blood disorders with fundraising, major event support, and our own annual project.
Since I was first introduced to Embrace Kids, they have always held a special place in my heart. Working so closely with the organization for so many years allowed me to witness the impact they have on the lives of the patient families they serve. This is something that so is special and unique to Embrace Kids Foundation and something I have had the privilege to experience firsthand. Embrace Kids Foundation exists to lighten the burden, maintain normalcy, and improve the quality of life for families whose children are facing cancer, sickle cell, and other serious health challenges. Embrace Kids addresses the spiritual, emotional, and financial needs of patient families in the New Jersey/New York City metropolitan area.
What Embrace Kids Foundation gives to their patient families is priceless. I have watched Embrace Kids remind kids that they are just kids. I have watched them help those same kids forget their sickness and pain and smile through it. To be a part of an organization that can do that for someone is to be a part of something bigger than yourself and that is something to be proud of. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support!
